OBC Bypass help
I am getting new Trojan T-890 batteries this week and thinking of getting a new DPI charger to replace the PowerDrive 3 charger that I have. I guess I need to bypass the OBC if I get the DPI Accusense charger and need to know if I have a Sepex or Series cart? I have a 2012 Club Car Precedent serial #PH1213-269014. I have upgraded battery cables coming from Carts Unlimited, is this bypass something I can do when I change the cable out and still use my old charger until I buy the DPI? Any help on the best way to go about doing this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Re: OBC Bypass help
Your cart is sepex drive. The PH serial # indicates an Excel drive system. Go to the stickies at the top of this section for complete bypass instruction.
Once bypassed the computer will no longer control the OEM charger. Wait until you have the new charger to do the bypass. |

Re: OBC Bypass help
If you have any specific questions about this or that step or wire don't hesitate to ask it here. Pics are good if they help show the wire or plug in question.
