Front Lift Block Size
Installed 10 inch tires on 99 CC DS. They rub when I turn hard.
I have a piece of 3/4 aluminum plate I want to cut to size for a front lift block. Can someone please give me dimensions I should cut for block? Also should the block go between spring and plate or between plate and frame ? Thanks, Muddog |

Re: Front Lift Block Size
I did mine with 1/2 inch aluminum block. 1 1/2 inch by 9 inch. Between the plate and frame. Works great. The 1 1/2 inch lets it fit between the bolt heads. Above the plate keeps it from messing with the front end alignment.

Re: Front Lift Block Size
I milled mine out of a 6" X 6" X 1" Aluminum plate
I used the adjustment plate as a Mill Guide Then I bought 2" bolts the same thread, treaded them in from the top side, installed everything and used Nyloc Nuts from the bottom side to button every thing up Works like a charm for me, Now I am building front shock relocation tabs and I'll install them this weekend to relocate the stock shocks to allow for more front lift cause the shocks are at full extension with the 1" Aluminum block |

Re: Front Lift Block Size
Cut a 4x 6 x3/4. Had to mill from eccentric bolt. Also had to drill for 2 top plate bolts.
Going between spring and top plate. Thanks for the replies. Muddog |
