Default 48v 97 shorted issues, wont turn or go

i am in tremendous help from you guys..

i have a 48v 1997 CC that was given to me by my no-longer-alive little sister in law that i think i screwed up royally...

Car ran fine, no issues, everything worked good until i wanted to put a battery meter that she had and when i was trying to connect it, one of the wires touched each other while trying to connect the meter making a huge flash and melting the wires!!(negative and positive wires at the 48v posts)

I immediately pulled the wires but it was too late..

When i press the go pedal, it clicks but does not go.

I have check the charger port fuse and its good. The "fuse/resistors" on the solenoid is good too..

I traced all the wires i tested them for continuity and they seem ok

Battery shows 48v-49v still...

Checked the key switch and still works.

Reverse buzzer still works while R is engaged..

I am new to the club car world and I have reading non stop to try to figure this out but any guidance on what to start troubleshooting would be a great help..

I am not asking you guys to solve my self-caused problem, but to help me narrow it down for me to troubleshoot

First, we need your serial number to determine the drive system. Next, put the charger on the cart. 48-49v is only about 50% SOC for a 48v pack.
