Default Club car suspensions?

Is there any difference in the suspensions of a 70's model club car and 80's or later models?

It probably depends on the models. If one is a Caroche and one is a DS, they're probably different.

The one I have is a 79 model but I have no idea what model it is. How can I tell?

From what I found, the Caroche and DS frames and suspension are very similar. The steering box is different on a Caroche and it does not use shocks in the rear. The Caroche motor and rear end is the biggest difference. It has a Baldor made external spline electric motor.
