off road use set to street and another for trips to the pool set for turf
Hmmmm....In that case - they should change the programmer to read "rinse & spin"

I am very pleased with my XCT500 and I like the fact I get to tinker and change setups without buying a Curtis programmer. Think I may be buying one soon for my street cart. When I get my settings how I want I will post here so there's not such a lack of information

Be sure to set your street cart to turf

Mine is latest FW - very recently installed in my YDRE Yamaha. The Manual clearly explains the difference between Street and Turf settings. I am not that sure what the Turbo setting really does though. I don't have that one enabled.

The turbo setting weakens the field above 40% throttle. This allows the motor to make more rpms at the expense of some torque loss. But it won't effect torque in the bottom 40% of the pedal.
The default setting is on. I leave it on.

Can someone tell me what setting makes the most change to top speed. Throttle adjustment is at 25%. I know RPMs would do it but they are set at 6000. I made a slight adjustment to torque last night and my cart is now running 31 mph with the bandit motor. It is way to fast for the family and I am afraid it may blow the engine. Thanks

RPM's is going to be your top speed limiter. Mine with Bandit motor and 23" wheels set at 7000rpm runs around 30 top speed. When mine is set at 6000rpm it runs low 20's. Very strong low 20's though

I think 7000 is too high for these motors. Somebody call PQ and ask them.

Lower the RPM limit for speed reduction. What size tires do you have and what top speed are targeting. JohnnieB made a chart for this
