Default Very disappointed in led headlight

So I got one of these things.

I am horribly disappointed in the light output. In the picture below it makes it look even better than in person. It's a better color than stock but much less light. I even slotted the mounting holes to aim it differently but didn't help much. What's my next option?

I did order a 12" light bar to replace this with but I'm unsure at this point.

Where did you get this light kit so others know if they want to stay away?

I have a similar unit to that one and when I went from the stock to the LED Unit, it was like DAY & Night change

When I turn on my lights I can light up the road forever in front of me !

I did add a few washers behind the light unit itself between the new light and the mounting bracket to act like an adjustment......I had to add like 4 on each bolt at the bottom and none at the top............This raised the light pattern up enough for my taste,,,,,,,...............You might try this on your unit also............I had to do this to mine after I added the Heavy Duty rear springs, cause it lifted the rear of my cart about 1" which threw the light pattern down too low and my pattern looked exactly like the pattern in your photo.....................Try adding 4 washers to the bottom mounting bolts and let us know your results

Thx. I did angle it up. It's more of a flashlight type spot beam than anything. Useless for a driving light. My wife even said she couldn't see anything. Well my light bar will be here tomorrow. If that doesn't work Better then I'll be grafting some projectors into the body lol

Take a picture of the light when it is turned on. I have a feeling you got a bad unit. focus the picture so the individual LED can be seen clearly.

Hmmmmmm, mine lights up so good that when I use them, most of the on coming traffic blinks their lights at me............just for fun, I had my fiancée drive it at night with me in my truck coming at her, and man, they are bright

I got mine from a site sponsor though, not from a scammer on FLEABAY

+1 for likely a bad light, it should be BRIGHTER than you ever imagined.

I could never see with the factory lights - admittedly one of my headlight lenses is foggy, I tried Sylvania SilverStar 9004 zXe HID Xenon Bulbs 9004 and they helped, but it was a wasted $30 toward a better fix.

Here's my setup using a 15" 90w CREE LED offroad bar $57 shipped from ebay, It consumes the same energy than the stock bulbs on LOW beam with 5x the light and I can see the light 100 ft in front of me. I unhooked the factory lights and ditched the H/L switch (although I plan to swap the headlights at some point so I can have a more subtle mode).

I forgot the brackets SLIDE on the LED itself and spend too much time twisting the brackets out of hand bent aluminum, they will be swapped to steel to control the vibration shake effect. (just in case someone else forgets too -- LOL)

Even after aiming it down. The poor children sitting in the back of carts in front of me have to shield their eyes.

What voltage is the light and what voltage do you have run to it. If you have them hooked up correctly, something seems wrong with the light.

Where it is aimed has a big impact on whether it is going to blind other drivers and cause them to flash you. Aimed too high and it's a problem and it doesn't do you any good either.
