So... For the first time in about two months...
I can hear my batteries boiling again!
Purchased a new Lester charger for my 2001 Club Car DS after the original one went kaput. Seemed to work fine at first, but then would kick on, but putting out 0 amps on the ammeter. Had a hard time figuring out what was going on (batteries, cables, connections, charger, electrical outlets, etc. all checked out fine), so FINALLY bypassed the OBC, exchanged the charger for another one, and the sound of those batteries boiling (and fully charging!) was music to my ears this evening! Water levels perfect, no overflow or spillage! Looking forward to taking her for a spin tomorrow morning after she's fully charged! I'm still going to keep an eye on her, but for now, I'm definitely happy! |
