Default CC DS - Where to mount fuse block and ground bus bar?

I recently upgraded my 2000 DS, and put a winch, 2 sets of LED lights, a cigarette lighter, and plan to add a few other items down the road. I bought a voltage converter and a fuse block/panel with Ground buss bar. Question is, where should I mount the 12V convertor and fuse panels at? My aluminum mounting plate is full of alltrax controller, onboard computer, and solenoids.

Where did you guys mount the voltage converter and fuse panels at?

Thansk for the advice, this forum is kick ***....

That might work if he had an ezgo.

Never done a DS but all the precedents I do I put the aux batt and a fuse block behind dash. I never run the converters due to the interference it causes in the radio while driving.

I like the factory style voltage reducers on Precedents for the simple fact that you don't have to find anywhere to mount it. The frame is pre-drilled for them. They're not much more expensive than the Universal ones, but well worth it in my opinion.

I have an 02 DS and I put a plate just under the rear access panel for my voltage reducer and my controller. It keeps everything high and dry. I can post pics if you want.

Please do, because I'm doing the same as the OP.

OK, pics aren't great but I think you will get the idea. I used a spare piece of aluminum plate I had. you could probably get some sheet and make it work similarly.

This is the finished product.

This is where I attached it underneath. I used the two bolts that hold the backrest to hold the top part of the plate.
Hope this helps or at least gives you some new options.

I ended up taking a left over piece of decking board (pressure treated 5/4"x6), cut to length, and screwed it to the two frame main I-Beams, between the batteries and the Aluminum mounting plate which is factory for CC DS (used for mounting controller, computer, solenoid), etc....

I will post pics when I get home, as I think it turned out great, looks good and professional, and it also blocks water splash up onto the controller and onboard computer.
