diode question
Hi, I have a 2000.5 DC 48volt club car with an upgraded 700 amp controller, speed motor, solenoid, wires, etc..
I have to replace the solenoid no problem.. but I broke the diode in while removing it.. Is a 1N5408 diode correct for the high amp controller and components that I have? Thanks in advance, Chris |

Re: diode question
The 1N5402 through 1N5408 diodes are 3 amps and the correct ones for the high current solenoid coils.

Re: diode question
Does anyone know of the best place to get a new high amp solenoid?
This is the one that I am replacing... Is there anything newer or better? I've had this one for 9 years. |
