Plum quick Bandit (is it 4 pole or 8 pole)
Hey guys – I was wondering if the stock motor with the plum quick bandit upgrade is a 4 pole or 8 pole motor. I assume 4.
Thanks |

Typically is the original 8-pole that has been bench grinded to a 4-pole (based on posted pictures).

Thanks - do you think I should use the 4 pole setting on the Alltrax software?

Re: Plum quick Bandit (is it 4 pole or 8 pole)
It's definitely a 4 pole. The factory IQ controller that the bandit is intended to operate with would not allow for the extra speed if they left the 8 pole magnet in it.
