Battery
I have a 2000 CC DS with 4 12 volt batteries they are napa less then 6 months old.I charged them and they read 50.6 volts after charging ran a discharge test and the discharger ran 42.3mins,restarted discharger 3 batts read 12.0 0ne battery reads 10.3 volts.started charging again the bat that read 10.3 volts reads 15.4 volts all others rearing around 13.7 volts, I check them like every 30 min ea time readings differ between ea battery .my question is does anyone know why all batteries are not charging equally. Note this cart has 6 ga cables non like any i have ever seen if they are for automobiles would that have any effect on charging thy look like new and very good.

Re: Battery
I'm guessing you have automotive batteries and not deep cycle golf cart batteries. Or marine batteries what are the markings on the battery.

Re: Battery
That's a golf cart battery but with the voltages that one is reading there is something wrong with it. I have an Interstate battery for my riding mower that started doing the same thing; found it flat one day and it charged to well over 14 volts. I let it sit for a while and then plugged back into the tender and it started stinking the high heavens...

Re: Battery
I guess my guess was wrong. But whenever I see NAPA I think car battery. Still don't know. Nowhere do they say deep cycle battery just golf cart battery.

Re: Battery
Just a thought, is there any chance you are using one of your batteries for 12 volt accessories like lights or a radio? If so, that could cause some imbalances in charging.

Re: Battery
Considering the cost for 4 new batteries to replace batteries that are less than a year old I think I've be willing to just replace the 1 that is not behaving as it should....
