Default Battery question

Should my batteries be gurgling when I am charging them? Pretty sure I overfilled them.

My batteries are 2009. Looks like I need new ones. I got a price of $144 each for T-875's. Seems in line with other prices I saw people post.

Hooked up a volt meter after charging the batteries all night. It showed 48.0 volts. Held the lead to the last neg and first positive. Not sure if that is good or bad!

Nope, after an all night charge, 48.0 is bad. Should be more like 50.4-50.9. If these are the new batteries, they might drop down to 49.5 until they are conditioned.
