Faulty MCOR?
I've been trying to figure this out for a while now but can't seem to pin point the problem. Iv'e seemed to lost a lot of top end speed and the cart while hesitate (lose power for second or two) when driving. Cart is an 02' with alltrax controller.
Could it be faulty MCOR? Iv'e checked all other connections Thanks |

Re: Faulty MCOR?
Hey man – not sure if it helps but that was my problem and I tried everything to solve it. I would press the pedal down and it would drop power for a split second. When I would push the pedal all the way to the floor it would never let me reach top speed and it constantly fell like there was a loose connection or weak batteries.

Thanks |

Re: Faulty MCOR?
I can't promise it will work for yours but I used a dremel tool to remove the top portion that is seal and pried it open with a small screwdriver. I used epoxy to seal it back. Here is a write someone did that explains the inside. I did not change any parts though. I just cleaned the contacts real well and bent them a little for better contact. I don't want to steer you in the wrong direction but it sounds awfully familiar.

Re: Faulty MCOR?
So, took it apart and it sure was pretty dirty in there, especially at the contact points. (I just zip tied it back together for now just for a test run in case I have to open it back up, once fixed I'll epoxy it shut).
Took it out for a test run and I definitely got my top end speed back and the hesitating has mostly stopped. Used to do it a lot and now only did it once out of 15 speed runs on the street. So I would say it fixed 85% of the problem. I might consider getting a new MCOR |

Re: Faulty MCOR?
Great news man – I will probably opt to buy a new one as well but I will give this one a little bit longer. I rode it today for about an hour and had zero issues.
