Tested motor with 12v battery, ran fine, no burn smell.....so any suggestions on why my controller and solenoid fried? Other than solenoid being undersized?.....I think the alltrax just failed and possibly took solenoid with it....

Still could be a bad motor. Make sure your motor is good before you try a new controller. Many controller / solenoid failures are caused by a bad motor.

Motor is OK! Ohm'd out perfect, and jumped it with 12v battery, ran fine, no wierd smells. Controller is toast, you can smell it from 3ft away, and will show no power

The biggest reason for this type of failure is stalling your car or trying to hold it on a slight incline using the go pedal
