25" Tires with 6" A-Arm Lift

Hello Gentlemen,

I really need your help as I can't find much information on the forums regarding my questions.

I would like to put a set of 25" Afterburn Street Force(GBC) -12" rim.

However, I'm unclear if this would fit on Club Car Precedent with a 6" A-Arm Lift.

[Used for on-road use 90% of the time]

Lastly, deciding between ITP and Madjax wheels...either made in the USA?... any benefit to one over the other?

Other important questions are how are you going to power 25" tires? Is your terrain hilly? Is there a rear seat?

I was just going to ask that very question! Once you go beyond a 23" tire you are trading off a lot of torque and unless you've got a big motor/controller the trade off in torque/speed will be a lot...

I live in Florida - No Hills. 48V Electric. Yes, rear seat with HD rear springs.

The reason I like the 25" was because I could get a real good radial tire. Any suggestions for 23" radial tires (Pavement Use)?....

Excel Street-Fox Radials looks a lot like the tires you pointed out and come in easier to handle smaller sizes.... Your asking a lot of your cart when you want such large heavy tires.

Are you talking about a Club Car DS or a Precedent? All-Sports calls for up to a 24 inch tire with their 6 inch lift on a DS, but only a 23" tire with a Precedent. There are taller lift kits available as well if you insist on running a tire that tall.

There isn't much info on the forums because it won't work. You'll rub for sure, need to go higher for 25" tires. My 22" is as big as I can go with 6" of lift (and never rub).

And you have a back seat too ...you'll definitely need to change the gearing in the dif unless your ok with overheating your stock motor and stock controller.

What you need is a 8" lift, a low speed diff gear, and upgraded controller to handle all that extra weight and larger dia tires. With that setup you could keep your stock motor. Your tires are so large it will offset the low speed gear.

Does anyone have any insight on extended roofs/where to buy?...
