Default coil voltage testing issues

i have a 1984 36 volt club car ds. testing my coil voltage, first solenoid at 36 volt nothing happens as far as motor engaging, 2nd good, 3rd no voltage, (i assume a bad microswitch, 4th good, 5th good but really have to hammer the pedal, assume linkage adjustment. the real question is the first solenoid.
