Default Help identify this , Not sure what brand or model...

I recently purchased this little cart for my campsite and have no clue who made it or what the model number is. I have found that the wheel hub caps have the Yamaha emblem but other than that, no marking to help identify. I have searched google on serial number tag locations and cannot find any on the cart itself or the frame. Can anyone help me out here?

It's not a Yamaha, it is a Club Car Caroche.

You're welcome. I think that model ended around 1975. Parts are hard to find.

Very cool, Gorno is right, it's a CC Caroche. Does it currently run? You need to get some Club Car hubcaps for that thing!

The Caroche had a ten year run from 1970 to 1980. Go to the driver's side and lift the seat. There should be a large frame rail running from front to back in between four batteries on the driver's side. Look on the frame rail right before it goes under the floorboard, there may be a serial number tag there

Thanks for the replies. I should probably introduce myself. My name is Josh and I am active on other forums, mostly related to the duramax diesel engine in Chevy and GMC trucks.

Anyways, yes it does run! I picked it up on Craigslist for $400.00 on Saturday. I had to put 1 battery in it but it scoots around with no problem. The previous owner made it clear that the brakes did not work so I was prepared for that. Today I removed the master cylinder after determining that it was not longer pumping fluid. It was dry as a bone when I removed the cap and the brake line was rusted out under where the battery box is. My plan is to rebuild the brake system with a new master cylinder, lines and brake hardware. I have briefly shopped around but is there a site you all recommend to purchase from? Maybe a site vendor who is helpful?

I look forward to sharing my progress as time goes on. I had some plans to kind of make this unique in my own way but now that you have informed me of the age I feel kind of bad hacking it up with rims and other modifications. The body is in decent shape and I am willing to bet once I remove the canopy and brackets it should buff and wax pretty well. Is it really a "vintage" item?

Welcome to BGW. Brake parts are getting hard to find. Maybe somebody with an interest in refurbishing these carts will pitch in with a source.

I would certainly call it vintage.
I've heard the master cylinders can be hard to find, but I believe a few guys on here have done it...
