Help on Precedent seat covers
https://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/321869790911
Bought these and they are staple on. Few questions about installation maybe you guys can help. My front bottom seat has no board on bottom to staple to and is just glued to the plastic base. If it goes around the base to how does the armrests attach? The backs of front and rear have the plastic backs as well. So take the backs off and install covers and then reattach the backs? They are really nice covers so I am going to take to an upholstery shop so I don't mess them up and just want to be able to tell them how it works. I'm in very small town so they have probably never done a cart before Thanks in advance Adam |

Re: Help on Precedent seat covers
Pneumatic staple gun will work on the plastic frame. Lay the new covers in the sun for a few hours, helps in stretching.

Re: Help on Precedent seat covers
So the precedent handles slide in the front seat from the side. Are the covers just cut there and handles slid in? Seems like that would rip

Re: Help on Precedent seat covers
You remove the handles and install the covers and then replace the handles. You may have to trim the cover to make room for the handles. There are videos on the web that are helpful. I put staple on covers on my precedent and the videos, though not specific to the brand of cover I bought, were very helpful. Expect to need a decent pneumatic staple gun to get the job done though. I bought an electric one that said it was good for upholstery work and it didn't work very well with the plastic seat frames.

Re: Help on Precedent seat covers
Thanks guys. Carried to local upholster today and he said it wasn't an issue and will have done in day or two. Think the cart will really come to life with the seats, top and dash finally done
