Help w/ Schauer charger 48V--15 Amp
I purchased a used Schauer 48V 15 amp for the Club car 36/48V conversion.
It has a green LED for power and an orange for "equalizer". What the heck is the "equalizer" light saying because its on and I dont want to toast anything like my batteries or my house. There is no Ampmeter, I sisnt care because its supposed to be automatic and i would just leave it plugged in all the time Thanks All |

Re: Help w/ Schauer charger 48V--15 Amp
Equalizing or finishing is all the same ... it doing what it says .....it is using a low amperage charge to level the cells to a preset charge where it will turn off automayically.....
If you are unsure what is going on get out your voltmeter and see what is going on........ |

Re: Help w/ Schauer charger 48V--15 Amp
Thats what I thought and was cool with that answer until......
stupid me turned over the charger and there it was...with 'equalizer' light on..it is in "bulk charge" with the light off its in "float charge" mode. So i just got back from CVS for my 9v meter battery and it says im getting 59.8 V with the equalizer light illuminated. Thats all I gotta say about dat |
