I didn't have any issues with my tabs but feel sure it was because I routed/strapped wires in a way not to stress the tabs

I just looked at it again, the tab easily pushed back in place....I guess I had a bad angle on my wrench, looks fine now, and connections are good and tight....

I thought those flexible tabs were strange too but as long as your wires are flexible enough and not causing them to bend and flex they are probably fine. The most important thing is that they be very low resistance connections.

Well got it all hooked up, 22mph, and a ton of torque with 30" tires. I'm satisfied, wish I had more top end, but satisfied, just gota get use to this D&D vented torque motor, you can hear alot more it

Vented must be something new. I have a three year old D&D high torque that isn't vented. Don't know if I would like vented with the mud and water I go thru.
You will be happy with the torque and dependability of the D&D motor.

Venting has always been an option for street motors. Obvious benefits.
