Is this the correct wiring?

Hello. I would like to know what, and if it is wired correctly, this is a picture of, that is in the left dash compartment of our 2003 CC 48v.

This is only a similar screen-shot of the one we have installed.

Here are the details; The box is attached to the inside back of the compartment, with a thick grey cable(black and white wires inside of it) inserted into small holes on left of box, that come into compartment.

On the left of box, is a larger hole, with a separate white wire, and a larger red wire. The red wire appears to exit the compartment, then runs to be spliced with maybe the rear lights, and part of the 12v dash accessory outlet, and to a winch solenoid.

The accessories associated with this compartment are, a Pyle marine radio,LED light-bar, and rear lights. There is also a 3-wire toggle switch.

Sorry, I am adding another photo, that will hopefully explain what I actually have. Our cart is at the beach, so I don't have the actual photo.

Again, mine has what appears to be a split open grey power cord (b and white wires inside of it) going into the left side of the box, and a small white wire, and larger red wire exiting the box and out of dash compartment.

with after market wiring we have no idea ...it would help to see photos

Sounds like a possible hack job.....but I could be wrong. Post some pictures of it.

Here is the closest thing to what was in the radio glove box. It appears to be a combination of gauge reducer/power supply. On one side of the unit there is the white wire, of a white/brown (the brown wire is outside of the glove box under the front left, spliced to other brown wires from different accessories.)
This is a small white wire. There is also a larger gauge red wire in the same hole. This red wire runs out and to the right side and is spliced with a little red wire from 12v cig outlet, and another little red wire that has something to do with the winch on/off switch.
On the other side of the box is a grey and a white wire spliced together in the same hole. These wires appear to be connected to radio, speakers, front led light bar toggle switch. Associated with all of the wires connected just outside the box are the rear lights.

It's not a bad thing...it's something many stereo installers use to split the power from the main power supply to other components...it works as long as it's away from corrosion.
