Default 2010 CC Precendent Solenoid Testing Question

I am working on a friends 2010 Club Car Precendent and I am not getting a solenoid click. I've checked for voltage on both sides of the key switch, as well as the accelerator micro switch, both test good. Also, I've checked the voltage at the FNR switch and it seems to be working fine as well.

With my multimeter, I am showing continuity across the 2 main pins on the solenoid without pressing the accelerator. Unless I am misunderstanding how the solenoid works, I thought checking across the two main pins should be an open circuit until I press the accelerator activating the micro switch. Am I correct or am I missing something?

The voltage should be pack voltage on the red post of the solenoid and about a volt or two less on the other side when checked from pack neg.

That's what I found, I will do additional testing on the small terminals and probably be back with more questions.

If you have continuity across the two big connections (with the wires removed) the solenoid is welded shut. You can't measure continuity with the wires connected.

Are you reading 0 ohms or 250 ohms across the contacts?

With the key turned on and the tow run switch on, I hold my positive lead on the light blue wire (solenoid small terminal) and my negative lead on the battery pack main negative and I am reading pack voltage without pressing the accelerator.

When I hold my negative lead on the blue/white wire (small solenoid terminal) and my positive lead on the main battery pack positive, I am reading 0.5 volt whether the accelerator is pressed or not.

any advice?

You need to measure between the solenoid light blue wire and blue/white wire. You will have battery voltage with solenoid active and 0V's with it de-energized.

I have zero volts between the two wires with the pedal engaged. What is the next step?
