I'm sure it has a lot to do with your location. Fedex and UPS both have different rates based on location. For me, Fedex is cheaper than UPS. They charge me about 22 bucks to ship it from here to PQ. FYI, those are my commercial business rates.

there always a usps large flat rate box , if it fits it ships. i wouldnt send a good motor that way but seeing its going to rebuilt it cant get any worse.
