Club Car won't move, just clicks
Hello, my first post but hopefully someone can help me. I have a 2010 club car DS, good batteries and connections. It worked fine one day then I got on it and it would go about 5 feet then cut out, the reverse buzzer started going off when it would cut out.
It did that a few times and now it won't move at all and the reverse buzzer won't sound at all. Any help on what to check and how is greatly appreciated. |

Try switching the cart to tow mode and then pumping the gas pedal to the floor and back about 20 times...then switch the tow switch back to run and see if it will move...report back.

Re: Club Car won't move, just clicks
I put it on tow mode and depressed the gas pedal multiple times. Switched it back to run mode and it moved about 10 feet then cut out and then nothing but clicks again!! Anything other suggestions? I do appreciate the responses.

Re: Club Car won't move, just clicks
I checked the continuity between the posts on the motor. A1 to A2, no continuity. F1 to F2 there was 2.0 continuity. Looks like there may be an issue with the internals of the motor. Has anyone seen this before? Thanks for the responses.

If you are sure there is no continuity between A1 & A2 then indeed you do have a motor issue...

Re: Club Car won't move, just clicks
I was told there should be no continuity between the posts with the battery pack disconnected. The 0 continuity between A1 & A2 is normal but the 2.0 between the F1 & F2 is where the problem is.
Does this sound right? |

Re: Club Car won't move, just clicks
Update- the problem was the solenoid. I changed it out and all is good.
In the process of troubleshooting I upgraded to a plum quick bandit motor, speed is around 23 mph, good choice. |
