Arrow upgrading motor

I have a 03 CC DS 36v with the v-glide controller. I am thinking of doing a motor swap seen a new motor says will add 10mph on a cart website and they recommend 4ga wires and a controller upgrade.. How do you upgrade a v-slide controller? Is there such a thing? I was going to upgrade to the 48v but these batteries are not even a year old yet. Any suggestions?

Default Re: upgrading motor

Most likely a 2003 club car 36v, doesn't have a controller it uses a resistor system. These are not the best cars to upgrade with high torque or speed motors.. The other side of it is, you don't have to replace your controller to upgrade... there isn't one there..
