Shutter on 1/4 pedal & takes off
I have a 2001 Club Car DS 48 volt, 550 amp controller, All 4 gauge cable, 11 HP motor with back fan. Brand new batteries all checked out perfect with a load on the batteries and Hydro test.
I get into the cart turn on key, flip handle to forward or reverse, hear the click of solenoid and "Shutters" as start to move. Depress further on pedal cart jumps forward to take off. Pump pedal couple times to get past flat spot and will take off. Pedal very soft in the sense as not responsive to pedal movement in the first touch. I replaced with a new Mcor and still the same problem. Possible bad Mcor, so I took Mcor out of a good running cart. The cart took off up to 26 mph felt really strong, pedal responsive. Happy go to bed. I get up the next day to get golf cart out of truck and it did all the same symptoms. Pump pedal to get it to move and violently jumps or doesn't move. The blue wire on the back of the F&R switch was hot when I tried to go up hill to get the demons out of this cart!! Could it be the Controller? Motor? Any advice would be great. Thanks Tom |

You has a loose connection somewhere. The FNR may be where.
