Default Did I screw up

Today I was putting on some cables that wasn't in my upgrade kit when I received it. I have a hitachi motor and and have f1 and f2. When I originally installed if the polarity switched and reverse was forward. I switched the cables and hooked everything back up and now nothing. I don't hear the solenoid clicking. Dunno what to do from here.

First rule of Engineering is when something does not work as it did before you messed with it is to do your best to reverse what you did and try again...

Did ya have any sparking issues? Even tiny ones can at best blow fuses and at worst blow controllers.. I'd start by double checking all battery to battery connections, then move to battery solenoid voltage readings etc. Do you have voltage across the small wires going to the solenoid when it should be energized?

Shouldn't an 81 be a series motor? No "f's", only "S's and A's".
