MCOR issue?
I have a 2006 cc ds with alltrax 500 controller..and haven't had any problems for 2 years after its install....battery are at 51.3 v according to meter. the cart just started to "jerk" when depressing pedal and does so in reverse as well...I mean it jerks and wants to go balls to the walls...you let up on accelerator and depress it again and it lunges again..after reading I ordered an replaced the MCOR1 with another MCOR1 ordered off the internet....it didn't change any symptoms... after further research it is recommended that I should have upgraded the mcor to mcor4 with conversion kit....has anyone had any similar experiences and if so did the conversion kit fix the problem....it's an expensive $180.00 guess

Re: MCOR issue?
A MCOR4 with harness is NOT a 180.00 part from David Hicks of www.revolutiongolfcars.com I screwed up and replaced a MCOR2 with a brand new MCOR3 and it worked just as poorly, installed a MCOR4 from David and have not an issue since.

Re: MCOR issue?
If the new MCOR1 didn't fix the problem I would consider replacing the solenoid. A slight delay in closing might be causing the jerking. Just for grins disconnect one of the small wires from the small terminals on the solenoid and compare symptoms. See if it fells about the same when starting.

Re: MCOR issue?
Where did you get the replacement MCOR online? The Chinese are starting to copy and reproduce the MCOR and the Chinese replacements are exhibiting the same symptoms as the faulty ones being replaced. Try cycling the pedal a good 50 times or so with the key off and see if the symptoms change at all

Re: MCOR issue?
Mine was not jerking as in trying to go balls out as you say your's is doing but I was getting an unexpected drop out while in use and crappy slow speed control... But my point was that you can replace a part with a brand new part and still have the same issue if you got a defective part and that the total cost for MCOR and harness with David is not 180 bucks...

Re: MCOR issue?
the box says "made in china"...guess that explains it....the solenoid was upgraded as were all the other components when I put the alltrax controller in....including resistors and cables. the jerking is almost whip lash capable then goes full speed ahead...kicks up dirt on startup in forward or reverse

Re: MCOR issue?
"Made in China" says it all. MCOR4 kit should take care of your problems
