Default Charger/Battery Questions for Newbie

I recently bought a 2011 Club Car Precedent.

I was told the Batteries were original so I knew they would have to be replaced before long.

As of right now my kids get about 2 solid hrs riding before battery light flashes.
which I am happy with. at moment,
My concerns are following:

There seems to be water on top of batteries, Cart has not been washed in a few days and stays in a garage, but all water levels of batteries look good.

how hot should the charger get while it is charging. Mine gets hot.. not so hot you cant touch but decently hot.

Just making sure all of this is normal

Thanks Guys

If an 11 with OE batteries they are very close and likely past needing replacement. Old batteries are harder to charge and may out gas more water than new batteries. If OE your Power Drive (?) charger will indeed get fairly warm to the touch while in use... So all in all yes fairly normal!

I've got a factory charger. I picked it up to move it the other day right after it was done charging. Definitely warm. Sounds like what you described.
