Default Madjax Ultimate Light Kit Question 2013 Precedent

New to the forum but not electricity! I am currently installing a Madjax Ultimate light kit in my 2013 48 Volt CC Precedent. I purchased the kit online and have it installed along with my Madjax 48v-12v reducer. Everything is wired and installed except for the short harness that goes behind the dash. I watched the online videos for the kit but the color of wires they call out do not match my harness? I am starting to wonder if maybe the small harness is different between the Ultimate kit and "standard" light kit? By the way I have both the black toggle switch and the red push/pull switch in my kit. That is why I am starting to think maybe I was given the remnants of two different kits?
How far off base am I with this? Thanks for any and all help. This forum has already been a big help!

Update....
I have the headlights working now but still needing some help with turn signals and 4 way flashers. Brake lights and tail lights work fine and horn works too. I do not have the yellow blue and black wires the manual says I should have. I have two yellows and a purple that hooks to brown in the light harness for head light. Any tips"

I did get them working after putting the instructions away and just tracing wires. The instructions that came with the kit are for the DS model not Precedent. The wiring harness is not the same as in the pictures or in the videos. I also had a bad flasher for the lights. Bought one at a local auto shop, installed it and bingo. Everything works now. Thanks for the offer!

Langus, Do you have LED Lights (front and rear)? I was wondering what type of flasher you bought? Do you have a part #? Was it a "No load" Flasher good for both LED and Halogen lights?

Amazon sells a nice electronic flasher that is adjustable for load. I have used it for months with great results. The adjustable feature allows you to tailor the flash rate based on load. Works excellent with led and incandescent bulbs in combination.

I've had several of the MadJax / RecPro kits that needed troubleshooting to install, including one that I sold a customer yesterday and he installed today, everything works except the headlights and taillights ... Luckily he's close by so I'm going to run over to his place tomorrow and see if we can't get it sorted, but yeah - they're definitely not *always* "Plug and Play"
