Turkey Buggy wont go....
Ok... I have a problem. I have 50 VDC across batteries. My cart wont move. It's been acting up for a while now. Some times it works fine....but then the next day nothing happens. I have a older Club Car that I converted from 36volt to a 48VDC system. I have an alltrax axe4855 controller. I had a loose "A" wire on motor a while back. When I tighten the post it turned. I though I had pulled the brush off the armature. I pulled motor....original 1989...and I spun another post and broke one off. So I found a used motor...48V 10 hp... original was 36V 2 hp. Hook everything back up and same problem. Originally, I noticed I had noticed green blinks (I didn't count them though) when I turned switch on and pressed the peddle. My batteries were low...I hadn't had on charger in a while. I put the charger on and left over night. Have 51.7 VDC now. Turned key on (click), press peddle (hear the second click), but NO green led light now on Alltrax...its out (nothing). So I set up to check voltage across M- and B-. When I turn on key...I get about 25VDC. When I press the peddle, I hear the click and get 51.7 VDC. As I press down, the voltage stays the same. I have a 0-5K ohm peddle. I took loose from Alltrax... I have 0 ohms peddle up... 5K ohms with it down. OK...Do I have a bad controller? Can it be reset somehow? What do I need to check next?? any help would be appreciated!

A real simple check and it happened to me. Remove the connections off of the controller tabs 1 & 2 and clean them then re-try.

Re: Turkey Buggy wont go....
I should have said all of them. I only use 1,2,3 on mine. I cleaned 1 & 2 and I had movement. Prior to that I had all the clicks and voltage and tight connections and that was my final check and worked.
You mentioned you were getting a green blink(s) it could just be the throttle input connections at controller. And the power tab 1 since you no longer get the green light. If after cleaning it doesn't work then it's the source. IMO. E |

Re: Turkey Buggy wont go....
I'm going to disconnect and clean all of them in the morning. They look good...but you never know. Its weird, that I had a green LED before I charged the batteries. Now I have nothing. It's has been kinda strange...I could go get on cart and it wouldn't do anything. Come back later and it would act normal. Thanks for your input!

Re: Turkey Buggy wont go....
When you apply power you should get one green blink then solid green for the 0-5k throttle. If you're not getting that then check for power between pin 1 and b- on the controller. If it is 48 plus I suspect controller.
