Default Deceleration question?

I just bought 2013 Club Car Precedent! Was out driving it and when you let off gas cart comes to quick stop. I assume this is natural and some type of safety feature but its very annoying. Is there any way to bypass this or at least adjust down so it doesn't give you whip lash?

Sounds like Regen braking, I took mine 2011 to a club car dealer And had Regen turned off. It coasts now but you need to be sure your brakes are good and properly adjusted. If you ride on big hills you might not want it turned off. .02

Dependant on model as Excel drive systems can't be turned completely off it can be adjusted by a dealer or tech with the scanner tool so as to be less obtrusive. What does your carts serial number start with and we can tell you if you have an Excel or IQ drive...

The 2013 Excel controller software allows for both the "Excel Braking" as well as the "Pedal Up" brake to be disabled using an IQDM programmer.
