Default possible year model 36 v CC

what the cart doesn't have.....id # tag on passenger side, under cup holder or on frame rail behind the key switch.

what the cart does have....steering box(not a rack), 5 solenoids for resistors.

going to be a hunting cart if it is feasible to upgrade for a reasonable $.

thanks in advance for your help!

I think the 5 solenoid was last produced in 1987 give or take a yr. Hard to tell an 87 from a 82. The only big difference being the motor spline count. This will determine upgrade motor availability. 10 tooth is good and 16 tooth is restricted. You might want to check that out by dropping the motor and counting.
All these resistor carts can be converted to solid state speed control and run with bigger motors on higher 48 volts to run with the big dogs. It's not cheap but, the results are great.

my profile pic is a '90 Ds with rack and v-glide.....its a neighborhood/beach cart, my son and I built the bumpers, nerfs, rear seat and step bar.

the cart in question is the same body style but the body is considerably heavier than the '90 model. it has no other solenoids except the ones at the resistors and has a small box mounted close to where the v-glide mounts on the '90 model. we haven't found any microswitches for the solenoids either.

i'll post a pic in a few....thanks
