Default 2001 regen 2 oh the problems

Ok I bought 2 carts both 2001's one series and one regen.
The regen has a bad controller and then I took the batteries for the series cart. Anyway I got to looking and saw that the previous owner toasted the controller by using a series 48v motor instead of a replacement regen motor. The guy I got my 98 from did the same **** why didn't I see this. Anyway what do I do. Since it has a bad controller and needs a motor should a guy convert this cart to something else or try to find a ge controller and add a bandit motor? It has a lift and if I keep it I need some power for hill climbing. Which my 98 doesn't have. Or convert my 98 and put all those parts into the 2001 and see it. I really like my 98. I am keeping 2 carts.

The 1998 can be easily converted to an IQ system and you'd be able to re-use several components. If you have a good regen motor, it can be re-used. The Onboard computer, Tow/Run switch, and F&R switch can all be re-used. You'd need an IQ wire harness, MCOR conversion kit, and a controller.

TahoeDawgZ71!!! (Revolution Golf Cars)

For the stuff you're needing, I wouldn't even think of getting it anywhere else.
