powerdrive 3 charger
got a 2011 precedent with new batteries installed today. plugged up charger and all I get is a click. anyone?

Check the AC outlet You plugged the charger has power.

You need to quickly isolate which side of the Transformer has the problem.
Disconnect the DC cord from the cart. Disconnect the AC plug from the wall. Set your meter to continuity or 200Ω. Place the meter probes on the 2 AC blades on the plug. Plug the DC cord to the cart. When You hear the relay click (the ammeter may go negative), You should get continuity on the meter. If no continuity is detected, The problem is with the AC breaker or relay contacts. If there is continuity, The issue is with the fuse or both rectifiers are bad. |
