Default Radio reception

Radio cuts out when I step on the pedal. Has anyone had this issue. It also causes lots of static on a hand held 2 way radio. Any suggestions please help

You might try an on-line power filter. They used to be commonly used to removed alternator whine. Don't know how well it will work on golf carts but get one that has both inductive and capacitive action.

Get an Aux 12v battery and a small onboard charger. No more interference

Smile Re: Radio reception

Are you using an antenna? If so...where do you have it located? Also where is your converter located? There is shielded wire that cuts down on the electrical interference and if everything else is right it will work.
