36 volt motor into a 48 volt cart
If I swap in a 36 volt motor into my 2001 series 48 volt cart that my 13 yr old son picked up does the 36 volt motor have to be any certain year or range or just a 36 volt club car motor?
I started looking and they are hard to find then I thought for an easy upgrade. should I upgrade to the 36 volt motor or is there an easy controller swap that a 13 year can afford with some help from his dad? Thanks |

Re: 36 volt motor into a 48 volt cart
The 36v motor is the biggest bang for the buck for a 13 yr old boy. Make sure the motor you buy has a 10 spline shaft, not the older 16 spline.
