Default Will these 36v motors work

Is there anyway by telling before I drive to pick one of these up if they are 10 spline motors and not 16 spline motors? they are 36 volt motors.

The first one may be what you want. The second one is older (terminals in a row) & might be 16 tooth

If you can get the whole axle with the second one that would work. Looks like it is already out of the cart might be able to make a deal on it.

Go with a 10 spline if you have a choice.

Much more available for the 10 spline... almost nothing available for the old 16

Can you call the owner and ask him to verify the tooth count before you drive out to get it?

I would love to but I don't think he will. both motors are at the same place. Do you think one of them would be 10 spline. I think they are both mounted on rear ends and it might be worth the drive to see what else he has but it is 58 miles one way. Thanks I will double check!
$200 for it all and I need some break drums for my one cart so this might be a double win! lol
