Mean green Machine, I'm trying to look at the schematic you posted. I have found this on this forum already, but I wish it were more clear.

It does appear to me the cable coming from the master solenoid to the battery is going to a negative terminal. Do you read it the same way as well?

The cart is up north. We are headed up tonight, so I will report back on Monday whatever I find out. I did buy new battery cables, so that might make a difference as well.

So I installed all new battery cables, took it for a spin, annnnnnd it still ran rough. So I threw it up on jacks, and had my son push the pedal while I watched. That was when I saw all the fun sparks coming off the resistor! The cable going from the last solenoid and resistor to the engine was nearly completely corroded off, with only a couple strands remaining! When I took the solenoid out, the post fell off. So I replaced the cable and solenoid and I am back in business!

The weekend was complete when I was talking to my neighbor who was moving away because he bought a new cabin. I bought his 2002 ezgo txt with less than 5 hours of use on new batteries for $800! Can't beat that!
