Default Front seat latching mechanism

I don't like charging batteries with the seat down. Tired of taking the seat on and off and either plan on buying something (if already out there) or making something to keep seat hinged forward.

Any store bought items avail to add on?

I use a bungee from the arm rest to the mirror mount. When it's not holding up the seat, I keep hooked between mirror mount and the windshield brace so it never gets lost.

If the suggestions above are too red-neck, you can use a hinge brace like those used on drop-down table leaves.

Seat down outdoor charge is my preferred arrangement. I made a flip up rod to hold the seat up in my gasser.... I could sent a pic or 2 of the crude rig - it works.

Nobody using the madjax carbon fiber stick?

I see I'm not the only one wanting to prop up their seat. I was thinking of using a fiberglass round electric fence post (1/2" dia) rotating hinge along back of well with a hanging clip. Lift seat up, pull rod out of hanging clip, rotate forward into pad mounted to seat bottom.

Scotty, send me a picture of what you did for some ideas.

Thanks

Tag, not quite sure what the table brace looks like. Guess it would mount on the side and have a center slot that a screw rides in? And how would it latch? Can't envision a clear picture.
