05 DS 48 volt no click no run!
AQ05 DS no solenoid click and will not run. I have not worked on many of this style club car. I'm more familiar with the EZGO. Where do I need to start? I know they're similar to the EZGO PDS. Thanks in advance for your help.

Re: 05 DS 48 volt no click no run!
The OBC controls the charging system but also will stop the cart from moving if the charging cord is plugged in. If you don't hear a click then test incoming and outgoing voltage at the main solenoid...be careful about jumpering random items...at the start of this forum are "stickies" that give you proven test procedures for most CC golf carts. As always make sure all your batteries are evenly charged and up to proper voltage. Report back and all of us will help.

Check the voltage at the solenoid small wires. Are the wires connected at the key switch. Is the mcor switch working. Etc. |

Thanks for the help guys. I have tried to find a wiring diagram for this cart, but didn't see one in the stickies for this particular cart. It's 48 volt sepex with 6- 8volt batteries. Does the solenoid activation come from the controller or is it separate from the controller? What is the best way to test the mcor?

Ok here is what I have so far. Pack voltage it's 50.2, verified voltage to and through the key switch and voltage to the solenoid small terminals are 50.2 to the blue wire and 49.6 to the purple/white wire (key switch on in forward not pressing pedal). I disconnected the 2 small wires on the solenoid and jumped them with a positive and negative from the pack just to verify the operation of the solenoid and it checks good continuity and all. Sounds like it is not getting the ground from wherever it comes from on the club car. What do I need to check next? The owner had already replaced the controller to no avail'
