Default DOT Windshield

Hey ya'll....

Looking to purchase a DOT windshield for my 89 DS, then gonna install the manual wiper. If i go with the DOT fold down, looks like the wiper might interfere with the top shield. Does anyone have any info or recommendations?

Thank

I installed my wiper in the upper left hand (when looking at it from the drivers seat) corner of the top windshield. When folded down it sits tucked right on the lip that hold the window snug closed. When it's up (rarely) it typically slides straight down parallel with the front left roof strut.

Not sure if your window is the same, mine is a stock club car window. I can take a picture if needed?

The wiper will typically slide down perpendicular to the picture location when driving.

Of course it scratches a plastic windshield. The wiper is to pass inspection, not for use.
