Voltage reducer or extra batteries (contd)

So I've narrowed down all the work I want to do on the cart and the amp draw will be under 40 for daily use. The maximum (per fuses on the items) is 85amps. Also in the future I want to convert the main pack to a leaf set or something similar... Just don't have the cash now. But eventually a lot less weight and more ah.

So I can either:

1) get a vmaxtank battery or (75 to 125ah) or 1 or 2 blue top dm31 Optimas. As I see it the issue is that a) I will need to have a mount fabricated to attach to the frame rails and b) extra wiring for the new on board charger for it etc

2) I can get 2 or 3 madjax 30amp reducers and run off the 48v pack I have. This is simple, cleaner and lighter. I just don't know if you can a) run the output in parallel so you get a 12v 60a potential to a fuse block b) or if I should use one for each amp and one for the extras c) how much this will chop my run times on the cart.

What do you guys think? Votes, suggestions Etc...

Depends on the total amp draw of all accessories. Most stereos and LED light set ups do not draw more than 10-15 amps TOTAL when in use.
60Amp reducer seems like over kill unless you are powering some serious toys.
Besides a light bar, headlights, and a stereo, what on earth would need an additional 40-45 amps?

As for run times, I haven't noticed a dramatic decrease with the use of a single reducer running off full pack.

Fuse size IS NOT how you determine amp draw. You're probably twice as high as your max draw.

2 amps and iPad, and a few led lights.

I called the manufacturer and they said based on the load I should pull more than 20amps each (peak) as I'm not driving up the ohm load.
