Default Club cart goed by it self?

I have a older late 80' s style 36v.
Been using it for a while now sence I got it and did some work to it.
It just start going in farward and reverse on its own and getting hot up to my butt.lol
Iam think I have a bad solenoid or a fwd./ reverse switch?
What y'all thoughts?
Thanks ahead.

You have a serious problem - probably a stuck solenoid or bad switch in the throttle pedal.

I think it's the solenoid. I just checked for continuity across main terminal s with batt. Pos. Disconnected and had continuity,
I had to change in on the past when I switched from 36v. To 48 v.
Went and picked one up at a local repair shop and I don't think it was HD type.
I will order a new HD this time.
Any recommendations to the right kind?
