Default Interesting Club Car Battery info.

I found out yesterday that on the 12 volt Club Car batteries, that the black batteries are recycles by Trojan and the reds are the brand new ones.

This is probably why CC will replace them without a pro-rate up to 4 years.

Yeah, so was ours. But then, I saw two 07 models just like week that had red ones and they were factory installed. Granted, these two were the top f the Precedents, the ones that comes with alloys and different seating ect.
The black batteries are "recycled new" so they can still sell them as new, I assume.

Most of the Precedents that I have seen have the black batteries. The only two that I have seen with the red ones are the top of the line Precedents.

Understand, the black batteries are still new, they are just made from recylcled batteries instead of virgin material the way red Trojans are made. This info came from a source in the know.
