New Smashed motor...advice
Need some advice quickly. Ordered a new mot-a2 Sunday night from a online house; rush shipping to get it and the new controller / cables package from Scotty B rushed as well so I could work on it over the long weekend.
Motor arrived today with a hole in the box where it had been dropped and it bent the metal flange pretty badly. (Pictures attached). 1) is this a sacrificial piece and I should still use the motor Or 2) who knows what was messed up inside the motor and you don't want it flying apart at speed. I was feeling that way just salty as I paid like crazy to have the motor here in time...
Can I still install the upgraded cables, solenoid and xct with the stock motor or best to wait till I have it all at once Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Admiral A2 motor has a specific map which should be installed in the controller. This map is not right for the stock motor. |

Re: New Smashed motor...advice
If you're worried share the pics with the dealer, ask him if you should bend it back with a crescent wrench or return it. I'll bet you $xxx he says install it.
