Good looking project and the price was very right. Open the pictures to view on your computer then turn them upright (probably little rotational arrows at the bottom of the screen) when they appear upright just close the viewer and they will stay that upright. The you can upload here and they will not be sideways.

Posting from an I phone and apparently they were oversized and it was auto reformatting and rotating for some reason

I just got my kit from Scotty b. Excellent service and speedy shipping. I got the throttle components and solenoid mounted. Got to mount the controller and finish building cables and give her a test run next week.

I got everything put together last night and sat the body back on. I had problems with the charging port getting in the way of the throttle conversion. I figured it would be easier to reocate the charging port to the passenger side as I couldn't see a way to make the throttle work with the charger located in stock location. Is this a common issue?

I didn't have to relocate my charging port, but mine is a '99 and it may be a bit different. I'll try to post a picture for your reference.

Here you go. This was during my SS conversion. Ignore the yellow wire, it was coming from the charging port and wasn't connected to the pack (+) yet.

Check your brakes and brake cables. Are you putting a seat on the back? Even if not, you may want to go with some HD leaf springs.

Did you use the throttle linkage extension?

I do plan on getting hd rear springs eventually but I'm deeper off into this thing than I originally thought I would be so I'm having to save pennies and go piece by piece to keep the wife off my back. I'm having the front bumper mount welded back up where it was busted and reinforced to mount a winch right now then I can completely assemble and be on the trails as I piece and part it to completion.
