Replace the LED in front headlights
Hello,
I have a 2004 club car ds that I ordered some LED headlight and back light kit for, installed them and now the front LED (white) part is extremely dull. The amber on the front and the rear work great. I measured the LED part and its 3" x 4.75" wide, has anyone ever found a light that drops in there good. I realize I will probably have some mods, but was curious. Thanks |

Re: Replace the LED in front headlights
Not sure I follow. The light kit you ordered now has a dull appearance? Or did you order replacement light bulbs that are LED?
The bulb that came with it should have a number on the socket housing. This is the number you need to replace it with. They make LED and standard bulbs with the same light socket housing numbers. They should then rotate and slide in. Pics are needed to fully understand here. |

Re: Replace the LED in front headlights
I've ordered LED headlights about three times. None of them were satisfactory. I went back to using a 50w halogen lamp instead of the 35w which comes standard.

Re: Replace the LED in front headlights
Sorry, I installed the LED light set and they were extremely bright for about a month. Now they are horrible. The ambers in front and the rear reds are good, but the headlights don't shine hardly at all. So I was wondering about removing that part and putting another led in there, but after hearing someone post that they tried 3 different ones and ended back at halogen maybe I will go that route.

Re: Replace the LED in front headlights
This seems to be a common occurrence. The cheap LED panels from China are junk. My ebay seller warranty mine once each. Now I have one bulb per panel out.

Re: Replace the LED in front headlights
Anyone have a link to a good set that will last? I would prefer LED, now I will just have to make sure the new ones will "fill" the holes in the body

Re: Replace the LED in front headlights
That would be great for the outback mate but we are talking city streets.
