Default 2002 Club Car DS

I recently upgraded my cables to 1/0 welding cable. The cable was to big for the OBC porthole. It does not charge now...I want to upgrade the Motor controller and solenoid and switch. Batteries are brand new.. any help or guidance.. This is mainly for golf and community fun with 4 seats and hills and yes I want to go faster. Please help

To make your OBC work again - use a 5/16 x 3-1/2 brass bolt and make a stud so you can use one cable for each side of the OBC. Read THIS THREAD.

I'll leave others to talk about controller and solenoid upgrades. At this stage, people will need to know what your drive system is (Sepex or Series).

Well your doing all this up grading how about buying a smart charger and bypass the OBC. A DPI would be a good choice.

Thanks. Is this the charger you are Talking about? And will I have to bypass the OBC?

I believe the Manufacturer Part Number: 1-48C017E20-00 is the one you want. Buy it from ScottyB he can answer all your question. http://www.cartsunlimited.net/battery-chargers.html
