Default spindle to a arm lift

i've got an 06 precedent with a 6 inch jakes spindle lift. the cart wanders all over the road and i want to tighten this up. from my research, i've decided to go with the all sports 6 inch a arm lift. is there anything else that i need to change out to correct the wandering? will i be missing parts because i'm not going from stock? do i need to change out the rear lift also? any advice would be appreciated. thanx

I'm newer to this game, but I wouldn't think the lift kits will make the steering sloppy.

Spindle Lift Kits are known for their poor and wandering steering.

The kit as sold by David Hicks is complete http://www.revolutiongolfcars.com/#!...-for-precedent and all you do is switch the wheel hubs out...

Make sure after your installation you properly align the steering. Also most of the A/Arm kits have a camber adjustment. Make sure you get proper camber and proper toe.

I went from a Jake's 3" spindle, to a Madjax A-arm on my DS...

The Jake's spindle lift is a great lift as long as you get the camber as close as you can, and the toe in perfect!
for 5 years, mine steered straight, with no wandering!

There's something that I think you will need to for the change over from spindles to A-arm...
the Jake's spindles come with their own hub nuts, I'm not sure about All Sports, but Madjax required the stock hub nuts,
(I still had my original stock spindles with nuts)
Otherwise, everything but the steering gear box, hubs, and hub nuts, get replaced.

As for the rear lift... You may not have to change it,
BUT... If the All Sports A-arm comes with a 4 U-bolt rear lift,
(I'm not sure if they're adding the 4 U-bolt Super Sport rear lift to all of their packages now)
Then... YES... absolutely change it!

Besides the poor/lack of installation instructions, it's not that hard of a job!

With Precedents, I think that there's only one choice with what caps you have!

I'd also suggest spending a little extra and going for the super sport over the original a-arm lift. JMO.

FYI. All Precedents have the same hubs. Sealed bearings. All All-Sports 6" lift kits for Precedents come with the 4 U-Bolt style.

You only have an option of an original A-Arm lift vs Super Sport with a DS. All Precedents use Super Sport styling.
